Well Grounded offers organisation development services to civil society groups in Africa so that they have the information, skills and resources they need to do their work.
The services that we offer are often in the form of facilitation, training, coaching and mentoring. This means that our core resources are our human resources: in other words, what we mainly offer to our clients is the time and expertise of the different members of the Well Grounded team.
The Well Grounded team is made up of staff members (core team), associates and board members.

They do the day to day work of the organisation and make strategic decisions collaboratively and involve associates.
An associate is an independent professional committed to strengthening African civil society. He or she is an organisational development practitioner and shares our values and approach. An associate is involved in Well Grounded’s development and governance bodies as well as in the implementation of activities and adheres to the value of equity which is the basis of shared governance.
A Consultant is an independent professional who has a trusted and privileged relationship with Well Grounded. Our consultants are essential to the implementation of activities as they expand our capacity for action and our expertise. They are solicited for missions and interventions related to their expertise without being subject to a competitive call for tenders. They adhere to Well Grounded’s participatory, client-centred, and change-oriented approach and participate in our collective learning.
