We are recruiting the next facilitators of change within organisations!
Well Grounded is launching an Internship programme: our training programme on Organisation Development. We are recruiting eight motivated people, who will become the new facilitators of change within organisations.
We are looking for exceptional people who want to understand what makes an organisation effective and who want to share that with civil society organisations (CSOs) in the Congo Basin. You will develop knowledge and skills to help African CSOs to get the nuts and bolts in place so that they can get on with delivering their defined strategic objectives – influencing positive changes for the environment and local communities.
We will help you develop knowledge about Organisation Development, so that you can enable African CSOs to grow and improve their work, making the links between the work they do with communities on the ground and changing policy at a national level. You are expected to have a passion for the issues in the forest governance sector and to be eager to convert that passion into effective action.
You are a citizen from Cameroon, Republic of Congo and the Democratic Republic of Congo and you currently live in one of these countries;
You have already worked or are starting to work as an independent consultant;
You are passionate about learning and are an active (self-directed) learner;
You are committed to community development and social and environmental justice;
You are aware of environmental issues;
Ideally, you are able to talk, read and write in both English and French.
Are you interested by this opportunity?
Please note that we will only look at complete appliations, submitted using the Well Grounded application form. CVs sent without the application form will not be considered.
Application deadline: Friday, 28th July 2017, noon (Yaounde time - UTC +01:00)
Interviews will take place during the week starting 14th August. Programme starting date: 28th August 2017.
