Staff and volunteers have regular performance management meetings with their line managers.
We have disciplinary procedures in place that everyone is aware of.
- There is an agreed system in place for deciding recruitment, setting salaries, setting individual objectives and reviewing individuals’ performances which is clear and fair.
The policies for rewarding and supporting staff are regularly reviewed and adjusted where necessary to ensure that they are continuing to serve the needs and purpose of the organisation.
We ensure that our staff and volunteers have access to a wide range of training opportunities.
People are key to any organisation: they are what keeps it alive and moving towards its vision and objectives. These people may be staff members, volunteers, members of a governing body, community members involved in projects, or consultants. These people may be involved with the organisation on a day-to-day basis or only occasionally. In a healthy organisation, all of these different people will bring a variety of skills, experience and knowledge and will inspire one another with ideas and motivation.
